Why Did I Start Creative Kickstart?

My Story

I was stuck.

I had poured my heart and soul into a business—only to sell my shares to my partners (long story), and suddenly… I had no idea what to do next.

The obvious move? Rest up, then jump right back into what I knew: designing cool products and selling them to retailers.

But deep down, I knew that wasn’t it.

I didn’t know what was next.
I just knew I was stuck.

So, I did what most of us do—I started consuming content, hoping something would click. But the more I read, the more I scrolled, the more stuck I felt.

Eventually, I picked up The Artist’s Way. I started journaling every morning—no pressure, just stream of consciousness. And something began to unlock. I realized the answers weren’t out there.
They were in me.
They were in the process.

That’s when everything shifted.

Writing helped me uncover what I truly care about: helping people. Helping people unravel, get unstuck, and find a path that feels like theirs. A path that’s not just impressive on LinkedIn, but aligned with who they really are.

A Little About My Career (The Real Version)

Before Creative Kickstart, I built and sold a company in the giftware industry. I helped secure millions in brand partnerships for a YouTube show back when the internet still felt like the Wild West. I’ve worked in sales and business development for small companies and brands that had zero presence in the marketplace—and gave them an identity that stood out.

I’ve helped build things from nothing.
I’ve helped sell things that were hard to explain.
And I’ve learned that clarity—real, honest clarity—is what moves things forward.

But here’s the part I don’t skip anymore:

The downs.
I didn’t always feel fulfilled.
I didn’t take enough risks on myself.
I stayed behind the scenes when I should’ve stepped forward.
